Mother’s Day is May 9th, a little earlier than usual if you’re blissfully telling yourself you have two weeks to find mom the perfect gift once May hits. Keeping everyone safe & healthy means it might be a little too early for those get-together brunches or all-day spa sessions with mom this Mother’s Day, but we’ve still got plenty of ways to make her day special! THE PERFECT CAKE (SORRY - WE MEAN COOKIE)
It’s the cookie that acts like a cake – and moms love it! We love it too – all the deliciousness of a cookie that we know moms love combined with the decorative touch of a cake, thanks to its custom message written in buttercream icing.
We have a size and shape to delight every mom – an 8 or 12” round, a 10” heart (and our personal fave!) or if you want to show your mom some BIG love you could go all out with our 12X16” GIANT cookie cake (we know, get-togethers aren’t really happening this Mother’s Day and that’s A LOT of cookie, but did we mention that our cookies freeze well? Just be careful when you’re wrapping up a piece with lots of icing!)
Even better is the array of flavours to choose from – instead of the usual chocolate or vanilla flavours of a typical cake *YAWN*, you can select from over 10 delectable cookie flavours like the classic Chocolate Chunk, sweet and crunchy Almond Toffee Milk Chocolate or go for the surprise with our new Red Velvet flavour (yes, you read correctly – a red velvet COOKIE, not cake. You can choose mom’s favourite colours for the icing – we’re big fans of hot pink and turquoise but that’s just us – and customize it with your own personal message. You have to keep it to 3 words (there’s only so much space to write on a cookie cake!) but that’s enough to get creative. THE PERFECT FLOWERS (SORRY - WE MEAN CUPCAKES)
Yes, we like flowers, and we know moms like them too. But we all know where this is going, right? The part we don’t like? The lots of money spent and then a few hours later the flower heads are drooping, or mom starts sneezing, or the cat knocks the vase off the table and flowers are flying everywhere. So yes, we all love flowers, but we think we can do better. Two words: Flower Cupcakes.
Our Mother’s Day Cupcakes are GORGEOUS. There, we said it. We take our Very Vanilla & Retro Chocolate cupcakes, which each have their own decadent filling and use our buttercream icing to create beautiful pink hydrangeas, yellow roses and pretty purple pansies.
If traditional roses are more your mom’s thing (because yes, we all know moms play favourites even if she denies it), then treat her to a dozen of our Pretty in Pink Rose Cupcakes. We take the same Very Vanilla & Retro Chocolate Cupcakes from our Mother’s Day cupcakes and decorate them all with pink roses on top. But trust us when we say these “roses” will smell even more heavenly than usual!
