Delivery Policy
DELIVERY OPTIONS
- Local Pick-Up Pick-ups are available during open office hours. Pick-up location: 130 Cawthra Avenue, Unit 105, Toronto, Ontario M6N 3C2. For same-day pick-up, call us at 416-763-2253.
- Local Delivery Available in the Greater Toronto Area. We cannot guarantee specific times for orders placed online. If you require a SPECIFIC TIME, call the store to confirm 416-763-2253. Additional charges will apply. If local delivery is chosen we reserve the right to determine the best delivery service to ship your package in a timely manner and will vary based on the type of item selected and date selected (i.e. cupcakes, cookie cakes and trays will always go with a local courier, while boxes and tins can use a variety of options: Courier, FedEx or Canada Post).
- Ground Shipping We ship products anywhere in Canada using FedEx and Canada Post. We reserve the right to determine the best delivery service to ship your package regardless of which company is selected at checkout. Deliveries are shipped between 9:00am and 8:00pm.

If the address provided is inaccurate and the package is returned to us, the customer will be charged an additional delivery fee.
- To ensure freshness, we only ship products outside of Ontario on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for orders received before 12:00pm (EST). Orders placed on holidays or outside of these days and cut-off times will be shipped the next available shipping date unless a future date is specified.
- Product shipping is priced by distance and weight. Ontario and Quebec packages can generally expect to be delivered 2 days after placing the order, subject to weather and delivery conditions.
DELIVERY POLICY
If you have opted in for shipping insurance and your package arrives damaged, lost or stolen, please contact us via email at order@sweetflour.ca or by phone at 416.763.2253.
WE WILL NOT GUARANTEE OR REFUND ANY PACKAGES DAMAGED OR DELAYED IN DELIVERY DUE TO THE RECIPIENT NOT BEING HOME OR CONDITIONS BEYOND OUR CONTROL. These factors may include, but are not limited to: weather, traffic delays, mechanical error, strikes, inaccurate shipping information or animals damaging the product. Please make sure you check your delivery information before checkout.
All gifts are sent with a personal greeting message that you can specify when adding a product to your bag. For Ground delivery requests (i.e. all services other than Courier), we provide a tracking number so you can track status of the package and/or contact the provider directly for any problems with delivery.
- Residential Addresses: For all deliveries to a building without a concierge, a phone number for the recipient is required. If a resident is not home the package will be left if the driver deems there is a safe place to leave the package. The driver will leave a message as to where they left the package. If there is no location to leave the package a redelivery fee will be incurred. Furthermore, if the concierge does not accept the package a redelivery fee will be incurred.
- Hospital Deliveries: Due to COVID 19 restrictions and issues with limited accessibility, we are no longer able to make hospital deliveries. We appreciate your understanding in helping us to keep our drivers safe!
- Left at Door or with a Third Party (e.g. Neighbor or Doorman): If a request is made to leave your gift or package at the door or with a third party, you accept all liability and risk for your order. These risks may include (but is not limited to), damage due to poor weather conditions, theft or consumption. No refund or credit is available for such occurrences. Furthermore, Please recognize that not all doorman/concierges notify guests their packages have arrived, therefore if you have not heard from your recipient please have them check with their front reception.
- Delivery to P.O. Boxes is not available
ORDER CANCELLATIONS / CHANGES
To change or cancel an order, please call 416-763-2253. All orders must be cancelled 24 hours in advance. No cancellations, refunds or credits will be granted after this time period, as all products are baked to order.
PRODUCT AVAILABILITY
All our products are baked fresh to order and as a result, on occasion, products listed on the website may be out of stock or on back order due to supplier or other issues outside of our control. If you order one of these products we will notify you in advance of the ship date. At that time you will have the choice of canceling your order or choosing another gift item.
